Im a big medieval and just older-history fanatic, so his stuff has been my jam for a long while. I cannot explain how giddy i was for his Summer Crossing EP bcs i always find his snippets on my fyp, and just have to wait until he posts the next chunk or a fuller version. Rather weird bcs i was going into Winter then, so me singing 'Sumer is Icumen in' made no sense. 'Bryd One Brere' and 'in the bleak midwinter' are so addicting to listen to, and i just find them so beautiful, esp with his performance. 'Old Eagle Wheeping' is definitely my newer fav, but honestly all his stuff, including his original work, are really enjoyable

Ever since 'War isnt Murder', ive been a pretty loyal fan of his work, specifically for the messages. Though i wasnt the biggest fan of his release for Kirk, since it seemed like such a huge contrast in tone in terms of empathy and humanising the subject, id still really enjoy his music, esp with his newer release, 'Pilgrim'. I havent gone through it back to forth, but 'Grapes of Wrath' as well as 'Change is in the Air' have stuck out the most for me. Really love his lyricism

Saying i grew up on 'Oh Anna' and 'Body' feels really wrong, but it is true. I first found them from my daily after-school-animation-meme-viewing sessions. Fun fact, their album 'Touch Up' was the first one that i added to my apple music library, as well as my first download :0

'Touch Up' (both the album and song) are my top favs since forever. 'Train of Thought', 'Ball Cap', and 'Neighbour' after that. The same sentiment is tre for 'The Sticks', and id highly recommend 'Little Pistol' and 'Waiting For The World to End' -- and looking at the title of the latter is just reminding me of the rapture chaos of this year.

Ive been so busy as of late that im so behind on their newer releases :( they just keep on pumping stuff out, and i just realised they released something all the way back in June

Like most people, i first heard them in about 2020 from 'Crucified' and i've been loving them ever since. I was literally crying when i went on apple music one afternoon yearning for their cover of 'everybody's gotta learn sometimes', and it, as well as the entire album, being gone for me :(

This tragedy lead me to exploring their album 'The Gods of Earth and Heaven' and finding the MASTERPIECE that is 'The Day the Gods Help Us All'. Like 'Crucified', i was (on all levels except physical) ascending. The instrumentation on this song is ethereal to me. 'Sebastien' and 'The Grand Fatigue' are my other favs from the album

Highly recommend their stuff, especially 'Le Grand Docu-Soap' -- 'Le Plage de Saint Tropez', 'We Are the Universe', 'Sexual Revolution', 'Supernatural', and esp 'Everytime You Lie' are my go-to's. Just don't go into 'Heterosexuality' my mindlessly playing it in the background, bcs when you start paying attention, its a jumpscare
